Peter joined Curtin Radio in 1999 after thirty two years as a journalist/newsreader/commentator with Channel Seven and Channel Nine.
Highlights of those years included covering the 1980 Olympic Games in Moscow and the 1984 games in Los Angeles together with a myriad of world events including the Apollo Eleven lunar landing in 1969.
He took a year away from the cameras in 1977 to fulfill an ambition to drive around the world. After seven years of "semi retirement", a three hour "fill in" on a Sunday morning on Curtin has led him to stay another 17 years and he regards his time at Curtin as the happiest of a media career which has spanned more than half a century.
His hobbies are travelling particularly to India and Africa, photography and history and of course spending as much time as possible with grand daughter Francesca.
