Always been a fan but please do one thing for me. You need to have your young newsreaders listen to a news broadcast on ABC Radio. There, they will learn the correct pronunciation of the word "hurricane."
Your young people use the incorrect American pronunciation of "hurricain." The correct, Australian way is "hurrik'n."

Both Louis and that nice young girl pronounce the word incorrectlty and it really assaults your ears every time you hear it. If there is one thing a newsreader must do, it is to pronounce words properly.

Thank you and cheers,

PS: Schedule is another good one. We say shedule. The Yanks say skedule.

We listen to Curtin FM most of the time and are always pleased with the shows and the presenters.

We would especially like to commend your choice of Jason Jorden. He would be one of your best and we hope to hear more of him after his stint in replacing Jenny.

Well done Jason, your efforts are fantastic.
